I recently graduated from The National Film and Television School with an MA in directing animation. I went on to work as a freelance animator for the last 2 years, contributing to projects for Blinkink as well as directing animated music videos, most recently for Sony artist GoldKimono.
My work is characterised by a combination of slick digital and tactile analog approaches. I place heavy emphasis on design and illustrative style. Thematically, my projects centre around social and personal issues, with an emphasis on subtle emotive human character performance.
Produced at the National Film and Television School, my atmospheric paint on glass film “The Fire Next Time” blends hand painted character animation with stop motion sets. It recently premiered at Annecy festival and has gone on to feature at several festivals around the world.
